2011 Walnut Beach Festival and 5K Race
This year's Walnut Beach 5k Ice Cream run took place Sunday, August 7th. This was the first 5k on the new Walnut Beach Boardwalk.
The first place winner for men was Asher Brandt with a time of 16:35. The first place female was Brittany Heninger with 18:16. Congratulations to all our runners who ran through pouring rain. The 5th Annual WBC Employee Ice Cream Contest
The contest took place the weekend of August 5th – 7th. Customers got to sample 9 new ice creams invented and made by our fabulous employees and to vote on their favorites.
The competition was tough but the winner is …. Georgia and Chelsea’s Chocolate Chunk Monkey Munch which is fresh bananas, walnuts and chocolate chunks.
The winning flavor will be part of the new fall flavors beginning Monday, August 29th.
